Recently, One of my clients asked me a question about All in One SEO Pack Plugin. He wanted to Export and Import All in One SEO Pack Setting from his old website to the newly created website.
So I thought to write a simple step-by-step guide on How to import “All in One SEO Pack” WordPress Plugin settings to another website.
First, You will have to activate the Importer & Exporter feature in All in One SEO Pack Plugin. By default, this option is not enabled in the plugin.
Step 1. Enable the Importer & Exporter Feature
1. To do so, log in to your WordPress Dashboard and click on All in One SEO from the WordPress navigation menu.
2. Now, follow to Feature Manager page by clicking on it.
3. Press the Activate button for Importer & Exporter feature. You will see the different features offered by All in One SEO Pack like XML Sitemaps, Social Meta, and so on.
Now you have enabled Importer & Exporter feature in All in One SEO Quick Menu Section.
Step 2. How to Export All in One SEO Settings
1. Navigate to Export Setting Page by clicking on All in One SEO and then Importer & Exporter from the quick menu.
2. Choose Export Settings on Importer & Exporter Page.
3. In the Export Post Types Section, choose one or all related Post Types you would like to export. You may see different Export Post Types selection available on your website.
4. Press Export Button to download All in One SEO Pack settings file. You will be prompted to download settings_aioseop.ini (Configuration Settings File).
Step 3. How to Import All in One SEO Settings
1. Navigate to Import Setting Page by clicking on All in One SEO and then Importer & Exporter from the quick menu.
2. Click on Choose File button, next to Import Option.
3. Now select previously exported All in One SEO Pack configuration settings file (settings_aioseop.ini) and click on Open button.
4. Click on Import Button.
Congratulations! You have successfully imported All in One SEO Pack Plugin Settings, Once you see prompted message “All In One SEO Pack Options Updated”.
